Addison's Photo Shoot!
We wanted some cute professional pictures of Addison after she turned 1 years old. We had a good friend take some pictures for us and we are very pleased with how they turned out. Addison brings great joy to our lives and hopefully she will bring a smile to your face as you see these cute pictures of her.

Don't Let Life Pass You By!
In May we were able to take a trip to St. George, Utah with family and go on a date to the Brian Regan concert. If you know who he is you will know that he can make a grown man cry, because he made me cry. I think that the main reason that I like his humor is because it is comedy that I can relate to. We took Addison to the swimming pool and at first she was not too crazy about the experience but quickly warmed up to it. As parents we love the opportunities to experience lifes events through new eyes.
Like many of you we had a traditional Memorial Day where we were able to spend time honoring those that have passed on and spend time with those who are most important to us, our family. I think that the most enjoyable part for me was going down the slide with sweet little Addison.
Some of you may know that I have been training for the Ragnar Relay which is coming up next weekend. Running is something that I have not always been fond of but when I was given the opportunity to join a Ragnar Team I took it and ran with it! After the race I will keep you posted on how I do.

Mama's Little Helper
Addison has been trying to be extra helpful this week now that she is comfortable with standing. In this picture you can see her helping Jana do laundry. With Addison standing up so much we felt that a stand-up-and-push toy was needed. She is quite fond of her new buggy, but still needs to work on her coordination. Addison has a checkup this week so hopefully she is the biggest gainer. We will let you all know how her 9 month appointment goes.

Little Miss Addison Has Become Mobile
Hello family and friends,
As many of you know we are seasonal(not seasoned) bloggers but hopefully that will change soon. Here are some pictures that we feel that you may enjoy.

Last time we posted we shared how Addison enjoyed playing with her shoes and how it was the beginning of something tragic......a infatuation with shoes. Since then she has discovered many new things and is enjoying life to the fullest. In March she began to crawl around and now in the month of April she has decided that she wants to stand up any chance that she can get. As always she is always making the day of others by giving them a sweet smile. Whenever she visits her grandma and grandpa Martin she enjoys playing on the piano, something that seems to be a favorite of all three grandchildren.
Life is good in Brigham City and we are starting to see warmer weather. On Saturday we had a family party for Jana's birthday and everyone enjoyed the nice spring weather on our back porch. We look forward to many walks and eventually bike rides when Addison is old enough.

Infatuation with shoes!!!
Have you ever wondered when a women's infatuation with shoes starts? Many people may say that it happens as a girl becomes a pre-teen, a teen, or in the early years of college. I personally feel that it happens even earlier than that and I have evidence to prove it.
Exhibit A

Today I learned that Addison really loves her shoes, especially the taste!!! I know that many of you may be thinking that you do not particularly like the taste of your shoes and I can assure you that my shoes are the last thing to go inside of my mouth. I wonder which part of the shoe taste the best to her.....is it the sole...is it the rubber......or does it have a thin candy shell. If Addison could talk and I could understand her I think that I would ask her this very question.
If I were given the choice to chew on something I think that it would be a delicious red vine or piece of beef jerky from the Sportsman's Warehouse or Cabelas, not a shoe. How about you?!
